<p>We are a family-run laser craft business based in the heart of Cardiff, Wales. Our journey began in 2022 when we decided to make a few handmade Christmas presents for our family. Little did we know that these heartfelt gifts would spark such enthusiasm! After six months of gentle nudging from our loved ones, we opened an Etsy shop, and thus, our business was born.</p> <p>Our creations are inspired by what we love and what brings joy to our three granddaughters, who are our biggest fans and toughest critics—even at the tender ages of 8,4 and nearly 2! They keep us grounded and remind us to always create with passion and authenticity.</p> <p>Our family has always been sports-minded, with a rich history of cheering on our children through hockey, skater hockey, and rugby. Today, we channel that same spirit of support and love into our grandparent duties, a role we cherish above all.</p> <p>We hope our products bring a bit of our family's warmth and joy into your home. Cancellation Policy
This policy outlines your right to cancel an order made through The Firs Studio, in line with UK and EU consumer laws.
Your Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period begins:
- on the day the customer receives the item

Exemptions
You cannot cancel an order for:
- Custom-made or personalised items
Refunds
We will refund all payments including basic shipping costs (if applicable) within 14 days of:
- receiving returned goods
- receiving proof of return
- or, in the case of services/digital goods, the cancellation request
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Returns
You must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation.
You are responsible for return postage.
We require proof of return before issuing a refund.
Additional Protections
Cancellation is not possible once custom production begins, unless goods are faulty.
We may withhold your refund until we receive returned goods or proof of return.
Personalised Items
1. If you wish to order 2 or more of the same product with different personalisation for each, please add them to your cart separately.
2. This item will be personalised EXACTLY as you have written, so please double check spelling, punctuation and use of capital letters. The majority of our products are case sensitive, however some typefaces used are styled in capitals as a default. If you prefer in lower case please contact us BEFORE ordering - we will change to a lower case font at our discretion.
3. Personalised products can only be returned and refunded if they are faulty. We are unable to alter any personalisation once your order has been submitted.
4. We cannot change your personalisation once your order is submitted.
5. Our delivery time is approximate - we need time to make your item/s. Some items take longer than others to make. Therefore we need at least 3/5 working days to make your item and 48hrs for delivery. During times such as Christmas and a World Pandemic, delivery times will be longer.
6. If you require your order urgently, please message to ask if this is possible BEFORE placing your order. Putting us under pressure after you have placed your order can cause unnecessary mistakes.
7. Make sure your account has the correct delivery address. Once you have placed your order we cannot change the delivery address.
8. These items are laser engraved, and every sign burns a little different. The lettering and pictures will be not be black, they will be more of a medium to dark brown colour. Even on the same sign within the engraving there may be different variations of colour as the same piece of wood does not always burn exactly the same.
There also may be slight visual differences in colour and temper of image and wood. Wood is a natural product and may be subject to changes in colour etc. This is all part of its natural beauty.
9. Due to the custom nature of this item, no cancellations will be accepted once the engraving has begun. Also there will be no returns unless we have made a mistake with the personalised details provided on the order or the item is faulty.
Non personalised Items
