Refunds & Returns Policy
Thank you for shopping with Ail Gyfle. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, handcrafted items. If there’s an issue with your order, we’re here to help — within fair and clear terms. This policy complies with your statutory rights under UK and EU law and provides additional details specific to our business.
Eligibility for Returns
We accept return requests within 14 days of receipt of your order.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
- All labels, tags, and accessories must be intact and included.
- The item must be suitable for resale as new.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions or that arrive damaged due to insufficient packaging.
Items Not Eligible for Return
We do not accept returns for the following (unless faulty):
- Custom-made
- Perishables
- Hygiene-sealed
- Digital
- Subscription
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us within 1 days of receiving it. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.
We may require:
- A clear written description of the issue
- Photographs of the item and packaging
Once validated, we will offer an appropriate remedy — refund, repair, replacement, or store credit — at our sole discretion, and cover return shipping where required.
Return Request Procedure
You must contact us for authorisation before returning any item. Unauthorised returns may be refused or delayed.
Please contact: ail.gyfle1@gmail.com
Return address (only when approved): 7 Maes Tomos, Trimsaran, Carmarthenshire, SA17 4DP
Return Shipping Terms
If the return is due to our error or a faulty product, we will provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse return shipping.
For all other returns (e.g. unwanted items), you are responsible for the return shipping costs, packaging, and insurance. Items must be returned using a tracked and insured service. You are liable for any loss or damage during return transit.
Condition of Returned Items
All items must be securely packed to prevent damage in transit. Items showing signs of wear, use, or damage not caused by a fault will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your cost or disposed of.
If an item is returned in a condition unsuitable for resale, we reserve the right to:
- Reject the return entirely
- Apply a partial refund based on diminished value
- Charge reasonable fees for restoration, if possible
Proof of Posting
You must retain proof of posting. If no tracking or proof of delivery is provided and the item does not arrive, we cannot issue a refund.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds will be issued within 14 days using the original payment method. We are not responsible for delays caused by your payment provider.
Statutory Rights
This policy is in addition to your legal rights. If goods are faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) or relevant EU consumer law.
Abuse of Return Policy
We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds where abuse of the policy is suspected, including frequent returns, use of items prior to return, or deliberate damage.
